Turkey earthquake
On Tuesday, reports indicated that the devastating 7.8 magnitude earthquake in Turkey and Syria resulted in the loss of 5,103 lives and countless injuries.
The disaster was followed by two more earthquakes with magnitudes of 7.6 and 6.0 in southern Turkey, as well as aftershocks measuring 5.6 on Tuesday.
In response to the crisis, various countries are working to provide aid and dispatch rescue teams. In Turkey, a period of seven days of national mourning has been declared.
