Mayilsamy, Tamil actor known for comedy roles, passes away at 57

According to the Nadigar Sangam (SIAA), Mayilsamy, a renowned Tamil film actor, passed away in Chennai on Sunday.
The 57-year-old comedian had a heart attack during the early hours of Sunday, as reported in a tweet by the Artistes association.
Mayilsamy had a prolific career, featuring in more than 100 movies, alongside leading actors like Ajith Kumar, Vijay, and Kamal Haasan, and even made appearances on TV shows. In the wake of his passing, numerous fellow actors expressed their condolences.
Condolences to Mayilsamy
Kamal Haasan expressed his tribute to Mayilsamy on Twitter, stating, “My dear friend Mayilsamy had a unique style of presenting comedy. He was a helpful person, and his loss is deeply felt. #Mayilsamy, a tribute to a dear friend.”
R Sarath Kumar also mourned the loss of Mayilsamy, stating, “I am shocked and shattered by the untimely passing of my good friend, great human being, and philanthropist Mayilsamy. My heartfelt condolences to his family, relatives, friends, and colleagues in the film industry. Rest in peace, Mayilsamy. #RipMayilsamy.”
Actor Sakshi Aggarwal expressed her shock and grief, adding, “The news is heartbreaking. Your sense of humor and positive attitude always brought laughter and joy to the shooting location. Rest in peace, #Mayilsamy sir. My condolences go out to his family and friends.”
