PM Modi Refutes ‘Modi Adani Bhai Bhai’ Slogan Raised by Oppn with ‘Roses vs Mud’ Response

The Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, delivered a response to the Motion of Thanks regarding the President’s address. Further he refutes Modi Adani Bhai Bhai slogan with Roses vs Mud response.
During his response in the Rajya Sabha on Thursday, the opposition began to shout slogans of “Modi Adani Bhai Bhai.” In response, the Prime Minister made a sarcastic remark about the opposition’s tactics, stating that their attempts to criticize only serve to strengthen the BJP.
The opposition members then went to the front of the house and shouted slogans against the government, calling for an investigation by the Joint Parliamentary Committee into the accusations against the Adani group.

PM Modi criticized the opposition’s actions, stating that their protests only lead to further growth for the BJP. He went on to say, “I want to tell these MPs (Opposition MPs)…the more you try to discredit us, the stronger the lotus will bloom.”
The Prime Minister also targeted Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, saying, “Mr. Kharge has expressed concern about my visits to Kalaburagi. He should take a look at the work being done there. Over 1.7 crore Jan Dhan bank accounts have been opened in Karnataka, including over 8 lakh in Kalaburagi. So many people are gaining empowerment, while others may feel frustrated. I understand this feeling.”
On Wednesday, the Prime Minister criticized opposition parties in the Lok Sabha for disrespecting the President of India and accused some leaders of harboring animosity towards Scheduled Tribes.
He went on to say that some individuals are troubled by the progress of the nation and suggested they reflect on this fact. The PM stated that the world is taking notice of India’s prosperity and growth, but that a few “disgruntled” individuals are unwilling to acknowledge the nation’s accomplishments.
In the midst of global turmoil caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and conflicts, the Prime Minister said that the world is looking to India with hope. He noted that India is becoming a hub of manufacturing and that its growth and prosperity are now being recognized globally.
“However, a few individuals who are deeply unhappy are unable to acknowledge India’s progress. They cannot recognize the accomplishments of 1.4 billion Indians,” said Modi, directing his comments towards the opposition.
