Actor-Director Satish Kaushik Passes Away at 66 Due to a Heart Attack, and Body is to be Brought to Mumbai for Postmortem.

On March 8th, actor and filmmaker Satish Kaushik passed away at 66 in Gurugram due to a heart attack. His friend and colleague, Anupam Kher, confirmed the news of his death. 

According to reports, Kaushik suffered a heart attack while visiting someone in Gurugram and his health rapidly declined while he was in a car. Kaushik’s body is currently at Fortis Hospital in Gurugram and will be brought to Mumbai after the postmortem.

Kher expressed his shock and disbelief in a tribute, stating that he never thought he would have to write a tribute for his best friend while still alive.

Satish Kaushik, known for his versatile talents as an Indian actor, director, producer, comedian, and screenwriter, began his career in theatre after graduating from the National School of Drama and Film and Television Institute of India.

Over the course of his extensive career, Kaushik appeared in numerous films, including iconic titles such as Mr India, Deewana Mastana, Brick Lane, and Saajan Chale Sasural. In addition to his acting work, he directed several films, including Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja, Prem, Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain, and Tere Naam.
