According to the Ukrainian envoy to France, West to Provide 321 Tanks to Ukraine.
What ambassador of Ukraine said?
The ambassador of Ukraine to France, Vadym Omelchenko, stated in an interview with French television station BFM on Friday that “as of today, many nations have officially confirmed their agreement to transfer 321 heavy tanks to Ukraine.”
Delivery terms differ for each situation, and we urgently require this assistance, he continued.
However, the Ukrainian representative omitted to lay out the number of tanks by nation. He made these remarks as Germany promised to provide 14 Leopard 2 A6 aircraft and the US committed to sending 31 M1 Abrams tanks.
“No experienced troops,” Ukraine probably won’t be able to handle Western tanks.
Previously, the United Kingdom agreed to provide 14 Challenger 2 tanks, while Poland has asked Germany for permission to transfer some of its own German-made Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine.
‘Crossing red line’
Meanwhile, North Korea has condemned the countries supplying tanks to Ukraine, saying they are “further crossing the red line” in their quest for hegemony through proxy warfare.
Kim Yo Jong, sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, criticized the US and its allies and declared that Pyongyang Korea will “stand in the same trench” as Russia against the US.
Kim Yo Jong stated in the statement, “I express great worry about the U.S. aggravating the war scenario by providing Ukraine with military weaponry for a ground invasion.
The United States and other Western nations “have neither right nor reason to disparage the right to self-defense exercised by sovereign states.”
